Bus services run between Leeds and York 2 to 3 times a day. The journey is short, taking between 40 and 45 minutes and no changes are needed. There is one bus in the morning around 09.30 and then two buses in the evening between 17.00 and 18.00
Leeds is a large city in the North of England, which is an important financial area within the UK, being the most important outside of London. York is a city which is famous for its history and heritage. One of the main sights to see in York is the impressive York Minster which is one of the largest Cathedrals of its kind in Europe. York Castle is another landmark that is worth visiting and after seeing it why not head to the The Castle Museum afterwards. There are other museums to visit also, such as the National Railway Museum (which is more than just railways) and the Yorkshire Museum. If you like stately homes then you should visit Castle Howard.
