Flights to Paris

Paris is home to five airports, the most significant of which is the international Charles de Gaulle Airport. The second biggest international hub for flights to Paris is Orly Airport. As a major European transport hub, it’s possible to reach Paris directly from a number of intercontinental cities including New York, Toronto, Delhi, Hong Kong, Rio de Janiero, Moscow and Tel Aviv. Cities in the southern hemisphere such as Sydney, Auckland, Cape Town and Johannesburg passengers will need to transfer in the UAE. Most major airlines serve Charles de Gaulle including Air France, Qatar, United Airlines, Etihad, and British Airways. Charles de Gaulle is located north-east of central Paris and the city center can be easily reached via train, bus or coach. The airport also boasts a shuttle service which takes passengers to Disneyland and some hotels. Orly Airport is found to the south of the city and from here it’s possible to reach central Paris via bus, metro, train or coach.

Quite possibly the most fashionable destination in the world, Paris goes by many names including the City of Light and the City of Love. Paris’ major landmarks also represent its most significant architecture and most popular attractions including the iconic Eiffel tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs-Elysées and the Louvre Museum. Paris is made up of a number of ‘villages’ each with its own charm and character. The art capital is found at Montmartre whilst the Latin Quarter is arguably the city’s bohemian heart. Those looking for a night out can find bars and clubs galore in the Pigalle quarter. Paris is considered to be one of the food capitals of the world and the city is home to over 70 Michelin starred restaurants including Alain Ducasse and L’Arpege.
