Rome

Few other world cities carry such as weight of history as does the capital of Italy. Visitors can enjoy such iconic sights as the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps, and St Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, along with canvases by Caravaggio and sculptures by Michelangelo. Despite the rich heritage, today’s Rome is a modern, vibrant place full of color and clamor. The spirit of the Dolce Vita is as potent as it ever was in the scenic streets, ornate churches, homely trattoria, streetside cafes, and bustling piazzas. It also offers a fine dining experience with the world’s finest pizza and pasta offerings washed down by local wines from the surrounding hills.
