In addition, many airlines connect to Venice via Rome from all over the world. Most flights to Venice arrive at Marco Polo Airport (VCE). Located near the lagoon just 8 kilometres across the water from the city, it offers the chance to arrive in Venice by boat and see the city at its best. Regular buses run by ATVO are also available. easyJet lands at Treviso (TSF) some 30 kilometres north of the city. Passengers can get into the city on regular airport bus services that meet arrivals. Buses to Venice terminate at the Piazzale Roma (Piazzale Roma) bus station. A short walk over the Calatrava Bridge lead to Santa Lucia Station (Venezia Santa Lucia) at the beginning of the Grand Canal. No land vehicles run beyond this point so travellers will have to continue on foot or by boat.
