How to Get to Dublin

Flights to Dublin

Flights to Ireland's capital arrive at Dublin International Airport located 10 km to the north of the city. As a major international airport, Dublin is served by many national and budget airline carriers including Ryanair, Aer Lingus, Air France and British Airways. Onward travel to Dublin centre involves a large choice of coach and bus shuttle services including Dublin Bus, Air Coach and Bus Éireann, with an average journey time of 30 minutes to the city centre.

Trains to Dublin

Travel to Dublin by train will involve arriving at either Heuston Station or Connolly Station. Heuston Station is found to the west of the city centre with trains arriving from locations in the west and south of Ireland such as Cork and Limerick. Trains from the southeast and Northern Ireland arrive at Connolly Station which is found to the east of the city. Both stations link to the rest central Dublin via the LUAS tram service and the DART rail service.

Buses to Dublin

Buses and coaches to Dublin arrive at the main bus terminal, Busáras. The Bus Station is found just to the east of the city close to Connolly Station. Local bus services are operated by Bus Eireann with national coach services and intercontinental services operated by Eurolines, Citylink and GoBus.
