Taking the Train from Budapest

All trains from Budapest to Vienna leave Budapest Keleti train station and arrive at Vienna Hauptbahnhof. Keleti is on the M2 and M4 lines of the Budapest Metro and is also connected to other Hungarian cities such as Pecs via domestic train services. Buses 73, 76 and 80 run from city center locations to the station forecourt, as well as the 24 tram. At night, cabs are a sensible option, although night buses 907, 908 and 931 stop at Keleti as well, so reaching your train should not be a problem.
