What do I need to know about travelling on Thalys trains?

    No, children under 4 years old do not need a ticket on Thalys trains if the child sits on an adult's lap. A "KID" fare should be purchased if a seat is needed. Children under 12 years old are eligible for a flat rate KID fare, which allows children to travel to all Thalys train destinations in Comfort 1 Class for €30 or Comfort 2 Class for €15.
